Elevated Fluoride Levels

On 4/20/2022, the Fluoride level in the  Village of Floyd Water was tested by the Drinking Water Bureau, and the water exceeded the MCL's set forth by the EPA's Drinking Water Standards.

At this time, the water treatment facility was inoperable, and the village had applied for emergency funding through the State of New Mexico.

Funding was awarded to the village and the water treatment facility was back in operation by June 22, 2022.

But from March 2022 until June 2022, the MCL for Fluoride had exceeded the EPA Drinking Water Standard.   Click on the following link Elevated Fluoride Levels to read the public notice, and if you should have questions, please contact the Village Hall at 575-478-2585.
